The Intentional Growth Center (IGC) has developed a training opportunity for clergy who have shown an aptitude for and interest in the specialized ministry of Interim Ministers. IGC has a 28 year history of providing continuing education experiences for the work of ministry throughout the nation. A Vision for Interim Ministry in the United Methodist Church

The Discipline, paragraph 338.3 authorizes the appointment of Interim Ministers. These “specialists” can make a great impact in troubled churches. Here is a plan for training pastors for this specialized ministry, developed by the Intentional Growth Center.
